B. / DIYATALAWA' cachet, this used by E J Baumann between 17 Jan 01 to 21 June 02. Re-addressed to Urugasmanhandiya and then further forwarded back again but this time to Hut 41. Reverse bears light 'BURGHERSDORP' sc datestamp. An extraordinary item, mail from Rhodesia to a Boer War POW is virtually unknown. No doubt an intriguing story to uncover. £550
