| 1893 Provisional ‘1 Penny’ surcharge on 6d pale dull blue. Block of six (3x2) from the left of the sheet (lower left stamp with margin folded behind). Showing variety SURCHARGE OMITTED almost completely on two stamps and with small portions omitted on three others. All stamps with clear offset on the reverse. The upper stamps thinned and some reinforced perfs, otherwise fine mint. The variety was probably caused by an intrusion on the sheet during surcharging. A spectacular and very scarce variety.
