| 1883 14th September, QV 1d vertically bisected and surcharged 'NEVIS ½d.' in black. Vertical pair right halves reading down plus single left half reading up, on piece cancelled 'A09', 'NEVIS SP 14 83' sc strike lower left, addressed to Antigua. Apparently the piece with two further examples removed, this would be correct in reflecting the inter island rate to Antigua of 2½d. SG 36 |
