| 1902 (April), Anglo-Boer War period cover sent registered to Port Elizabeth, bearing a single KEVII 2/- black and brown (SG 252) tied by a Pretoria (30 Apr) double circle datestamp. With a boxed Pretoria registration cachet and a PASSED PRESS CENSOR / PRETORIA triangular censor marking. Registered Port Elizabeth (4 May) arrival backstamp. Presumably philatelically inspired, though a very scarce stamp used. |
