| 1910 28th April, wrapper being a folded printed ‘INSPECTION OR FORFEITURE NOTICE’, endorsed at top in red ink ‘O. P. S’, ‘BULAWAYO’ datestamp alongside and struck at lower left violet oval ‘MINES OFFICE / BULAWAYO’ cachet. Addressed locally, to one W P Chappel and detailing that unless certificates were taken out for the relevant locations, they would be liable to forfeiture without further notice. A remarkable survivor. |
