1900 First printing (level stops) ½d on ½d orange. An upper marginal vertical pair, upper stamp showing variety VALUE OMITTED due to downward shift, the lower showing SURCHARGE TRANSPOSED. The margin proves this is a downward rather than an upward shift. With a light horizontal crease across upper stamp. Heavily hinged in margin and barest hinge trace on the lower stamp, otherwise very fine mint with the upper stamp being unmounted. Holcombe certificate (1993). Scarce pair. SG 101f, 101 var
