| Postal History / Postage Dues 1941 (8th September), cover (with printed sender’s address ‘Nkana Hotel / Kitwe’) addressed to Nkana, bearing a single KGVI 1d brown (SG 27) tied by a LUANSHYA (8 Sep) double circle datestamp. The cover was taxed and bears a ‘T1D’ in black manuscript and a postage due 1d grey-black (SG D1) was affixed and tied by a KITWE (8 Sep) double circle datestamp, with an additional strike on the reverse. Edge tear at top from opening, otherwise a fine example of a domestic taxed cover.
