Note: Prepared in England for a proposed ‘Kruger’ issue to be printed in the ZAR and which was subsequently abandoned following the outbreak of Second Anglo-Boer War. Quantities of the paper were sold to various philatelic publishers including F. Hugh Vallancey who used this paper to publish the Large Paper Edition of “A Collectors’ Catalogue of Philatelic Literature” (London, 1917). Robson Lowe also used some of this paper to print price lists and monographs.
