| c1937 KGVI 6d definitive in un-issued colour blackish brown, overprinted ‘WATERLOW & SONS LTD / SPECIMEN’ (as Samuel type WS1 although smaller and at base) IMPERFORATE AND WITHOUT SECURITY PUNCH HOLE. Affixed to piece cut from the Waterlow sample booklet with their number 'S.T. 1822' written in ink above. Not previously seen and may well be unique as such. SG 44 printer's sample / specimen |
