1945 (6th September), incoming underpaid cover from Norway bearing a 20 Øre adhesive tied by a Stavanger (6 Sep) machine cancellation. Endorsed ‘13? cts’ in manuscript and with two small ‘T’s in circle (one in manuscript). On arrival, the deficiency was calculated to be 4d and the cover received a large circular ‘T/4D’ and a pair of postage due bantam 2d (SG D32) were affixed and tied by a light Kimberley (15 Oct) double circle datestamp. Unusual.
