| PLATE PROOFS Unappropriated Dies imperforate plate proofs of the 3d printed in lilac (as issued) and the 6d and 1/- printed in orange on gummed, ‘Orb’ (3d, 6d) or Script ‘VR’ watermarked paper. Each handstamped ‘CANCELLED’ (Samuel type GB14). The 1/- thinned at lower lewft, otherwise very fine and fresh. These watermarks were utilised for Bechuanaland. |
