| 1923 17th August, cover bearing KGV 2d King's Head (SG 6), cancelled crisp SANDYMOUNT single circle datestamp, addressed to Germany. Struck with several charge cachets the one 'T / 20c' deleted in pencil and a further 'T / 35c' applied. Endorsed in blue '160,000' this being the charge in Marks during the inflationary period. Unusual and a very scarce office on cover. |
