| Postal History / Postage Dues 1937 (5th November), window envelope underfranked at 1d meter frank cancellation, Durban and presumably addressed to NKANA. Endorsed in red crayon ‘T’ then applied with top portion of a horizontally biected 2d due, this cancelled ‘NKANA / 1 NOV 37’. The due partially torn through, presumably by a previous attempt to bisect by hand. A clean and attractive example of this scarce temporary use. (see footnote in SG) |
