| c1900 Anglo-Boer War propaganda / sympathy labels. Group of 24 different examples printed in a range of colours on variously coloured, perforated, gummed papers. Each bearing an effigy of Kruger and inscribed ‘Gloria / Para los Boers / Á Krüger / El Transwaal’ in Spanish and ‘Long Tom’ below the image of a gun. About half with faults (mainly hinge thins) and two with surface scuffing, though most are of fine appearance. A most unusual group.
