| REVENUE 1902 printed black on cream 'HUT TAX' receipt headed ‘BRITISH SOUTH AFRICA COMPANY / Administration of North Eastern Rhodesia’, with a large ‘1902’ printed in red. The receipt was made out to ‘Kipanya’ of ‘The London Missionary Society / Central Africa Mission’, with the latter handstamped in violet. With facsimile signature of the Civil Commissioner handstamped in grey-black. Some crumpling and a 3/- stamp has been removed, otherwise fine. Ex the collection of Joe Ross. |
