| 1966 14th February, cover bearing 3d Independence overprint machine cancelled 'GWELO' and addressed to Zambia. Upon arrival endorsed in pencil '210 / 2' then applied with vertical pair 3d dues cancelled 'BROKEN HILL'. Contemporary note in pencil on front 'This is the only Independence Stamp that I have seen taxed. We could be caught'. Opening tear at top and a little crumpled. |
