| 1937 3rd December, envelope bearing KGV ½d, 1d plus KGVI Coronation 1½d (SG 1, 2, 22), crisply cancelled 'LIVINGSTONE' and addressed to the USA. Original contents enclosed being two printed General Post Office and Northern Rhodesia Postmaster's Office form/letterhead. The former listing the KGV stamps and postage due labels available at the time, and the latter a typewritten letter advising of much the same and including that the KGVI Coronation set would be withdrawn from issue on the 31st December, 1937. A most unusual survivor. |
