Addressed to East London and bearing a single KEVII 1d scarlet tied by a Guildford (15 Jan) double circle datestamp. With an EAST LONDON (FE 8) arrival datestamp where the card was readdressed to the Transvaal and received an Officially re-directed / at East London. rectangular boxed cachet struck in violet. With a BOKSBURG (12 Feb) arrival datestamp where it was once again re-addressed to ‘Jeppes’. A scarce instructional marking.
