1974 12½c definitive, major variety PAPER JOIN. Vertical margin to margin strip of five down the sheet, the join showing just above 'RHODESIA' panel on the centre stamp to the front, and on the lower stamp on reverse. Superb unmounted. RARE. SG 496 and var.
Note: this is the only such paper join known for at the entire Rhodesia era. Presumably only one sheet existed, resulting in ten such strips possible |
