1924 KGV Admiral 3d, blue shade. Major variety IMPERFORATE TO UPPER MARGIN. Upper right corner copy, minor hinge mark in margin with the stamp remaining unmounted. A GREAT SOUTHERN RHODESIA RARITY. SG 5 var.
Note: a single sheet showing this variety is known, resulting in ten such examples possible. Nine of these are now known, and of these two (including the left corner) are stained in the margin with sellotape. Three examples remain in a strip. This example may well be the most desirable copy extant. |
