| Revenue c1901 Cape of Good Hope 1d dull reddish purple and bright scarlet revenue stamp overprinted ‘BASUTOLAND.’ BLOCK OF 32 (4x8) comprising a large part of a right hand pane with margins at right and base (less below one stamp). Faults commensurate with a multiple of this age and size include wrinkles or creasing and a few gum light stains. Otherwise fine mint with the majority unmounted. A remarkable survivor for a Cape revenue, let alone one overprinted for Basutoland. T&M 7.1
