| 1886 Cape ½d grey-black overprinted ‘British Bechuanaland’ in black. Horizontal strip of three, the centre stamp showing the variety ‘B’ of ‘British’ omitted resulting in the ‘ritish’ error. In addition, the left stamp shows the variety Raised ‘and’ in ‘Bechuanaland’ and the right stamp the Broken ‘s’ of ‘British’. Hinge remnants, otherwise very fine mint.
