With oval PASSED PRESS CENSOR / JOHANNESBURG cachet in black and a large PASSED BY CENSOR / GERMISTON / 13 SEP. 1901 / F. HOWE, Capt.’ struck in violet. London (OC 5) squared circle on the front and with Johannesburg (13 SEP) and London (OC 5) transit / arrival backstamps.
