The imprinted stamp is cancelled with a fine JOHANNESBURG (13 JUL) segmented double circle datestamp. The reverse with a printed form headed ‘The City and Suburban G. M. & Estate Co., Ltd.’ Confirming receipt of 50 cases of ‘gelatine’. With a large circular cachet ‘ONTVANGEN / 13 JUL. 1899 / INSPECTEUR / VAN ONTPLOFBARE STOFFEN.’ struck in violet. Very fine. |
