1960 5/- Kariba, coloured essay for the proposed issue submitted by Harrisons. 35x27 mm and applied to piece, imperforate. Depicting the dam wall from the Northern Rhodesia side, without Queen's portrait. Delightful and RARE.
Note: this item has only recently surfaced and is ex. an employee of Harrisons at the time. They were about to be discarded until the timely intervention of someone with philatelic knowledge! |
