| 1908 29th October, printed black on pale olive-green 'RETURN - RECEIPT / AVIS DE RECEPTION' form (25 000 - 25-7-03). Applied with KEVII 2½d (grey)black and blue, chalk surfaced paper (SG 263b), cancelled 'CHURCH STREET / PRETORIA'. This for a registered article addressed to Heidelberg, duly received and cancelled for the 30th October. Reverse bearing the embossed seal of the German Consulate Pretoria and endorsed as such. A lovely and rare survivor. |
