| 1878-80 Queen Victoria ‘Bourne Head’ design. An IMPERFORATE PLATE PROOF BLOCK OF FOUR of the 1d postage duty printed in black on thick white card, comprising positions 27-28 / 37-38 from the right half of the original sole sheet. A block of 30 from the left half of the sheet remains intact while the right half was cut up by Robson Lowe in the 1960s into blocks of four and pairs. A rare multiple. Ex Bradbury Wilkinson & Co.
