Note: the 16th July was a Sunday. These stamps were issued in Salisbury on the 13th July, and given that the quickest method of transport to the Falls was by train, they could only have reached there by the 16th, at the earliest. Presumably cancelled by favour, this is in effect the first day cancel for the Victoria Falls. |
