| 1969 (July), group of three items, firstly with a typewritten letter on headed 'PRINCIPAL PRIVATE SECRETARY TO THE PRIME MINISTER / SALISBURY' notepaper, in response to a request for a signed photograph, this duly done with a black and white portrait of Ian Douglas Smith (88x396mm) boldly signed in black ink at base 'I. Douglas Smith'. Together with the return envelope sent Airmail to Finland bearing QEII 6d Mardon, machine cancelled. Previously mounted to page. Delightful. |
