1907 16th March, BSAC 1d Arms postal stationery card (H&G 11), cancelled 'ABERCORN', addressed to England. Struck at upper left with crisp violet oval 'LONDON MISSIONARY SOCIETY / 16 MAR 1907 / KAWIMBE' cachet, then FORT JAMESON 10 APR transit and Manchester MY 18 arrival strikes. Further re-addressed and DROYLSDEN MY 19 squared circle arrival. Most unusual.

Note: the vast majority of early Missionary mail emanates from the French societies. This London based example is rather more unusual. The message written in English refers, apparently, the appointment of a new member and described as 'a very strong, healthy little man'.
