Endorsed at lower left ‘P J Cochrane Capt / Nauwport’. The message is headed ‘Remounts / Nauwport, Aug 30th’ and is written over several stapled pages. The interesting contents include reference to the Royal Engineers constructing blockhouses. Hawick (21 Sep) arrival backstamp. Unusual. |
