| Revenue 1900 (11th January), four page Deed of Transfer document (210x328mm) for an amount of £2000 in respect of land in the division of Britstown. Bearing QV large £1 brown on orange and a pair of £10 deep purple violet revenue stamps (Barefoot 75, 104) all tied by neat ‘DEEDS REGISTRY / 11 JA 00 / CAPE TOWN’ crowned oval datestamps. The £1 crossed by a vertical fold, the two £10 are superb, without the usual rubbing associated with this issue. Scarce. |
