Addressed to London and rated at '2/2', arrival backstamp dated 30th January 1821 partially over the Nevis strike. The NEVIS strike seen in use between 1815 and 1827. Vertical fold otherwise remarkably clean. Very scarce. |

Further endorsed at left 'Missent to Cathcart' and finally reaching Glasgow on the 2nd September 1843, receiving three different backstamps for the same day. A fascinating early letter.
