Note: this is a controversial stamp. The purple hue to the heads is a result of the black ink bleeding because of the paper being dampened prior to printing. This is quite easy to fake. However, under magnification, this example shows overall minute red spots which in combination with the black ink, gives the purplish hue. This effect is impossible to fake, and indeed is the defining characteristic feature of this stamp.
