datestamp. The reverse with Cape Town P.B.S. and Cape Town / T
datestamps (8 and 11 Nov). Scarce combination of markings. |

D28) applied to the reverse and tied by Cape Town (7 Mar) datestamps.
As the addressee could not be located, the cover received a bilingual ‘GONE NO ADDRESS’ and ‘POSTAGE NOT / COLLECTED’ boxed
cachets (with a further two of the latter on the reverse). A scarce
example of a postage due charge being raised, but not collected. |
