Comprising: First period: 43 items with a cross section of commercial and philatelic items, differing rates, cachets and rates, some without surcharge collected etc.  Second period: 85 items with a similar cross section.
A wonderful opportunity to create a highly specialised collection of this subject. Included is a copy of ‘The Surcharging of Rhodesia’s Mail’ by Mitchell and Tring.

1970 15th July, surcharged mail to Zambia, long envelope bearing 2c decimal definitive (SG 440), machine cancelled AVONDALE to Lusaka. Manuscript endorsement then applied with a pair of 2n Zambian definitives as dues, crisply cancelled 'LUSAKA 22 JULY 70'. Uncommon surcharged cover from the second period.
