AD427 Group of 35 Double Heads all fiscally used. Comprising Perf. 14 ½d, 1d (x13), 3d, 6d (x2), 1/- (x6), 2/- (x4), 10/-, £1 (x2) and Perf. 15 1d (x3), 1/- (x2). Variously cancelled with perfins, oval datestamps and / or in manuscript. Condition varies from poor to fine. £160
MDH772 1911 8th March, large printed and typewritten Distribution of an Estate form (now folded for display), applied with Double Head 5/- crimson and yellow-green plus 3/- Arms and 10/- Arms overprint (SG 160a, 86, 112), each date perfined. Lovely fresh colours. £275
MDH775 1911 14th August, printed black on blue 'Messenger of the Court' form (now folded for display), applied with BSA Company 1d Arms overprinted 'Rhodesia' x nine, 3d large Arms and 6d Double Head brown and purple (SG 145, position 6 showing Tiara flaw), cancelled with either violet oval 'ASSISTANT MAGISTRATE'S OFFICE / INYANGA' cancels or red ink. The Summons issued to one Mutshusengene for the failure to supply 'dresses etc, which the said bought for her on the condition of their marriage'. Delightful. £375
MDH765 1911 8th September, printed black on blur 'Messenger of the Court' form (now folded for display), applied with Double Head 6d two vertical strips of three chocolate and maroon (RSC E, lower stamps in each strip either position 14 or 15) plus 1/- black and pale blue-green vertical pair (SG 152). Each cancelled in red ink and perfined 'BSA / C'. The summons in respect of one Chimiza 'for taking away his child (daughter)'. Wonderfully fresh and highly attractive. £375
MDH764 1911 1st November, printed blabk ob blue 'Messenger of the Court' form (now folded for display), applied with Double Head 3d magenta and yellow-ochre (SG 136) plus 3d large Arms redrawn. Each cancelled in red or black ink and perfined 'BSA / C'. The summons in respect of 'the damages done to her garden by a cow belonging to Matafa. The amount of mealie crop eaten by the cow being equivalent to one sack full of grain valye 10/-'. Delightful and fresh. £175
MDH776 1911 14th December, printed Summons form (folded for display) applied with Double Head 1d block of four carmine-lake group plus 1/- and 5/- Arms (SG 124 group, 84, 87), cancelled with crisp violet oval 'OFFICE OF THE MAGISTRATE / BULAWAYO' cancels and date perfined '14 / 12 / 11'. MDH768 1912 16th May, large ornately printed COMMERCIAL UNION Insurance policy applied with Double Head 6d red-brown and maroon (waxy Head, RSC G) plus pair 1/-'s black and deep turquoise-blue (SG 151a), each pen cancelled with date. One 1/- with small punctures otherwise wonderfully fresh colours. £275

MDH658 1914 4th December, typwritten page from an accounting document, applied with pair 5/- Arms, four £1 Arms overprinted 'RHODESIA', strip of three 1/- Admirals and 1/- Double Head, no gash headplate. Date perfined '15 / 12 / 14' and violet oval 'THE MASTER OF THE HIGH COURT / SOUTHERN RHODESIA, SALISBURY' strikes. Folded for display, a most attractive combination. £145

Cancelled with violet oval 'THE MASTER OF THE HIGH COURT' cancels and date perfined '20 / 7 / 17'. Light staining affecting right stamp otherwise lovely colours. £300
MDH763 1917 12th December, hand written single page of an account of an Estate, applied with Double Head £1 vertical strip of three perf. 15 lake-brown and (pale) slate-black (SG 179, RSC F), plus 1/- no gash printing, 5/- and 10/- Arms. Cancelled with violet oval 'THE MESSENGER OF THE HIGH COURT' cancels and date perfined '17 / 12 / 17'. Most attractive and lovely fresh colours. £425
MBSA637 1919 2nd June, large sheet (now folded for display) being the typewritten account of two parties in dispute, applied with Double Head vertical strip of three (one defective) plus two singles and Admiral 1/-. The Double Heads scarlet and deep slate (RSC G) and all date perfined '2 / 6 / 19' plus violet oval cancels. Fresh colours and most attractive. £350
