AM1231 Revenue 1921 (21st April), page being part of a land deed document (205x330mm) with hand-drawn diagram of an area of land in Klein Windhoek. Bearing Union of South Africa KGV large format revenue stamps 1/- and pair of 10/- (Barefoot 4, 9) each stamp initialled and all tied by a fine ‘SURVEYOR GENERAL / 21 APR 1921 / WINDHUK, S.W.A.’ oval datestamp struck in violet. AM1228 Revenue 1921 (12th September), four page Mortgage Bond (222x348mm) for £1500 in respect of a farm in the district of Otjiwarongo. Bearing Union of South Africa KGV large format revenue stamps: 2/6, 10/- and pair of £1, each cancelled or tied by REGISTRAR OF DEEDS OFFICE / WINDHUK (12 Sep) crowned oval datestamps with ‘1’ of year appearing inverted. Some perforation faults, otherwise fine and a scarce and attractive franking. £45
AM1230 Revenue 1924 (11th December), one page document (208x334mm) headed ‘In the High Court of South West Africa’, being a court judgement for £1500 granted in the High Court, Windhoek. Bearing Union of South Africa KGV large format revenue stamps overprinted ‘ZUIDWEST / AFRIKA.’ or ‘SOUTH WEST / AFRICA.’ 2/6 green and orange horizontal pair (McClellan R55 / Barefoot 5C) tied by a neat bilingual ‘REGISTRAR OF THE HIGH COURT / OF SOUTH WEST AFRICA / 11 DEC 1924’ (11 Dec) boxed datestamp struck in violet. Some edge faults, the adhesives are very fine and most attractive. £65
