RU2521 1965 11th November, printed copy of the Declaration of Independence (584x751mm overall), showing the declaration within fancy border, at base the various signatories including Ian Douglas Smith, Clifford Dupont and a further ten ministers in Government. At base a further small panel, here with the ACTUAL signatures of the above. At base 'Printed by the Government Printer, Salisbury' imprint. A RARE SURVIVOR, apparently only 12 done at the time and no doubt not all have survived. SOLD
RNA87 GOLD COIN 1966 Reserve Bank of Rhodesia QEII £5 gold coin. Issued to commemorate Independence in November 1965, reverse showing the Arms of the country. A total of 3000 of the £5 minted, produced by the South African Mint, red rexine box, gilt. 39.94 grams in total representing 1.1762 troy ounces pure gold content. £3,250
