Provisions include "No liquor shall be sold or supplied to any Coloured Men or Natives". Bearing on the reverse, 99 (!) overlapping examples of the 1892 postage £1 deep blue (SG 10) all pen cancelled with official's initials, full name, position and date. Faults, including ageing and corner missing which probably had the 100th stamp affixed. A most remarkable and fascinating historical item. £350

Issued for one ‘Tomesa’ a native of ‘Basuto’ tribe for the period of one month at the rate of 15/-.
